Enjoy all the attractions of Victoria, Texas, and Port Lavaca!
Nave Museum - Part of the prestigious Victoria Regional
Museum, this unique museum is dedicated to Royston Nave, a Texas artist who achieved
distinction in New York art circles in the 1920s and who painted extensively in
and around Victoria. Nave's paintings are housed in a romantic Greco-Roman hall
that was built by his widow in 1931. You'll see unusual views of Texas, painting
of the people who inhabit small towns, and scenes depicting rural life, as well
as seascapes and gorgeous landscapes. The museum also features contemporary art,
sculpture, and traveling exhibits.
